Corporate Governance
Corporate governance reflects the framework in which we conduct our business and Plan B is committed to achieving a high standard of corporate governance and compliance.
As a listed company, we are guided by the ASX Corporate Governance Council's Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations.
Our Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of Plan B and its subsidiary companies and we comply with ASX Listing Rule 4.10 and provide a statement in our Annual Report disclosing the extent to which we follow best practice recommendations.
Compliance is a shared responsibility of all employees. Our comprehensive compliance framework ensures we are fully compliant with legislative requirements and that client funds are properly managed at all times.
Plan B holds Australian Financial Services licenses issued by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission. The licenses require strict compliance with financial services law and authorise us to provide financial services.
Plan B Trustees Limited holds a Registrable Superannuation Entity licence issued by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, which allows it to operate superannuation funds.
Plan B Wealth Management Ltd and Partnership Financial Services Pty Ltd are principal members of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and most of our Financial Advisers are, or are working towards becoming Certified Financial PlannersTM. This is the highest professional certification for a financial planner.
Plan B is a member of the Investment and Financial Services Association, the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia and the Australasian Compliance Institute. Plan B and its investment vehicles have been audited by KPMG since 1995.
